One of the most notable features of G-SBOY is her low time and recently overhauled engine, having been overhauled in October 2023 with under 200 hours flown since. The avionics in G-SBOY include a Garmin GTN 750, providing pilots with an integrated moving map and WAAS capabilities for approaches and overall enhanced situational awareness. Additionally, this aircraft features a secondary NAV/COM, BendixKing DME, and ADF.
For increased safety and reduced pilot workload, G-SBOY is equipped with the KAP 140 autopilot system. This two-axis autopilot includes a Nav mode, which is coupled to the GTN 750, ensuring smooth and precise control during various phases of flight.
