Located at our Lee-on-Solent showroom and offered exclusively through AT Aviation, the Slingsby T67 M260 Firefly G-BWXJ is a highly regarded two-seat aerobatic and training aircraft with an exceptional pedigree. This example combines proven military training heritage and excellent performance. Notably, this particular Firefly is widely recognised as the aircraft flown by Prince William and Prince Harry during their early flying training, giving it a unique and interesting place in the type’s history.
G-BWXJ currently has 5803 hours and 10 minutes on the airframe and is freshly out of Annual, (February 2026) The aircraft is powered by a Lycoming AEIO-540 engine which was overhauled in 2009 and has accumulated 504 hours 05 minutes since overhaul, delivering the strong and reliable performance expected from the M260 variant. The Prop itself was new in 2022 and currently has 233 hours 45 minutes. The propeller is in excellent condition, with new leading edges installed on all blades in January 2026, helping protect the blades and ensuring continued smooth and efficient operation. The cockpit features a full BendixKing panel with Mode S transponder.
